2008

Myersville VFC Sportsman's Calendar Raffle AVAILABLE ALL OF 2008.....

The Myersville Volunteer Fire Company, along with many other organizations, is once again offering Gun Calendars. The 2008 calendar is available for a $30 donation per calendar. The winner will be determined by the Maryland State Lottery Evening Pick 4 number (straight). (This calendar offer is in no way affiliated with the Maryland State Lottery.)

When you buy a calendar, you will find a four-digit number on the back cover that is good for a period of one year. This means that you can win as many times during the year that your particular number is drawn on the Evening Pick 4. To win, the number must be exact. If you win, you may take the gun for that day or a pre-set dollar amount. The gun and the allotted amount of money are printed on each day of the calendar. Winners will be notified by mail by the first week of the next month. Calendars can be purchased at the Myersville Volunteer Fire Company.

For answers to your questions, contact Denny Grossnickle at 301-293-1055. If you have purchased calendars in previous years, you may contact your last seller for more information or to purchase the 2008 calendar.

Firefighters make entry into the house to begin search and rescue and fire extinguishment

Interior safety/training crew members exit the house for rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation and protection of each firefighter was paramount.  Each member was encouraged to remain hydrated and also vital signs were monitored.
